Create fine detail metal parts
The ProX DMP 100 is an entry point 3D printer that comes with the finest of features. This is the smallest version in the ProX DMP line and has been especially designed for the manufacturing of small, complex, fine detail metal parts, using Direct Metal Printing (DMP). You can expect high quality results with the ProX DMP 100, with fast production times and ease of use.
There is a build volume of 100x 100 x 100mm (3.94x 3.94 x 3.94) and manual material loading. You also have the option of an atmospheric controlled, external recycling station. The ProX 100 supports Stainless 17-4PH and CoCr.
Compacting technology allows for smaller particles
The patented layer compacting technology allows for the use of smaller particles, this will generate the finest details that are available on the market and allows for the thinnest wall thickness that’s possible.
Achieve sharper corner radiuses
The ProX 100 has a surface finish of up to 200 Ra micro inches, which means that less post processing is needed and you achieve sharper corner radiuses. Thanks to the proprietary powder deposition system, the ProX 100 builds down to 20 degree angles, without any supports. Overhanging surfaces benefit from the improved surface quality, when compared with other competing systems.
Improved surface quality and less supports will ultimately mean less material usage and less post processing. This will save you a great amount of time and money. You can also build parts that would be very difficult to create with other printers.
Fantastic accuracy and repeatability
The typical accuracy on small metal parts is +/- 50 μm (+/- 0.002 inches),
on large parts +/- 0.2%.
Repeatability from part to part is approximately 20 μm (0.0008 inches).
If you’re looking for exceptional surface finish and resolution with fast production times, the ProX 100 would make the ideal choice. There’s minimal waste of materials and you can achieve consistently high accuracy parts, even with first time builds. The ProX 100 is very straightforward to use, which allows for a productive workflow.
